PR&A has provided Engineering and Surveying services for The Refuge on several projects over the last five years including a new bridge over the Ocklawaha River. This project included removal of an older Bailey bridge by the SJRWMD and construction of a new 180 foot single span steel structure bridge. We also hired industrial painting services to apply a 2 hour intumescent paint for steel that provides a more resistant layer of protection from rust, corrosion, extreme weather, fire, and other damaging elements.
PR&A performed all civil engineering, surveying, design & permitting services for this project including coordination and permitting with SJRWMD, FDEP, ACOE, US Coast Guard, and Marion County. Construction administration services we also called in for site inspections, Regulatory Agency coordination, site surveys and As-builts.
